Ideas and notions of beauty and femininity across cultures are diverse; our social and political environment, our personal experiences and values shape our view on femininity and gender. The role of women and how they define themselves continues to shift, and today, women have the power to shape who they are and what they want to become. Women have the power to speak their minds, and challenge outmoded ways of thinking

The thing women must do to rise to power is to redefine their femininity. Once, power was considered a masculine attribute. In fact, power has no sex.

At NEW KID we support the work of designers with a strong, identifiable voice.

'Unbreakable' celebrates individuality and finds beauty in strength with a futuristic vision of femininity featuring the work of two female designers -  Yuka Maud for Otsu (pieces from AW18 'Out of Tune 2' collection). And jewellery by Camille Walton, one of the designers from our NEW KID directory.
